General Notes & Suggestions
- Please do not wear any scented products.
- New students please arrive 10 minutes prior to class. No appointment necessary–just show up.
- Existing students please arrive 5 minutes prior to class.
- We lock the door once class begins (so that we and our belongings are not disturbed). You can call the studio or text the teacher (or just bang really hard on the door) if you’ll be late.
- Silence your cell phone. If you’re on call it’s okay, just let us know.
- Let us know if you need to leave early.
- Inform the instructor of any injuries or issues you may be experiencing. We care about your safety.
- For your comfort, avoid eating or drinking 1-2 hours before class.
- We are not currently offering pre- or post-natal classes.
- Although we have a few loaner yoga mats (to be cleaned after use), we urge you to bring your own. We can order a quality mat for you from Jade or Manduka–not made with the toxic materials a Walmart mat will offer. We try to offer a discount or absorb the shipping costs. Inferior mats usually need to be cleaned before use as they are often sprayed with an oil for storage & shipping. We will gladly share our preferred cleaning method. Just ask or email–unless you want to practice your asanas on a Slip & Slide….
- We encourage feedback and suggestions as we aim to create a yoga community!
